Studies in the Dutch capital attract more and more young people from all around the world. This year, Fagus has contributed to increase accommodation capacity. Complex of 10 buildings was open in Daalwijkdreef, southern suburbs of Amsterdam. Total number of 700 residential units, mainly composed from modules with dimensions of 7.25 x 3.3 m, with own bathrooms, kitchens and central heating systems, and with entire built area of 16,800 m2, was assembled in 10 months. Fast construction and lower overall building costs in comparison with classical buildings are the biggest advantage of prefabricated buildings.
