Origin

Fagus was founded as a Czech private company in the year 1991. It was transformed into Fagus, Ltd. in the 2002.

Our basis was the great experience gained by producing residential units for the Czech and eastern markets in the past. In the following years the company gradually started to penetrate into other European countries with the main focus on the German, Swiss and Austrian markets. From the start, this business expansion was an important contribution to gaining information and expertise on the norms and technological norms of western Europe.

The experience gained, the improved technology, the acceleration of all processes and the higher standards of quality control formed the basis for further expansion in the western markets.

Fagus, Ltd. owns five production and technology sites that cater for all our customers requirements. The headquarters is in Slušovice, business and rental branches can be found in Prague and in Bratislava.

For the Slovak market our subsidiary is FAGUS SK, s.r.o. Ltd. in Žilina that provides assembly logistics and services for our buildings throughout Europe. In 1998 the branch FAGUS Deutschland GmbH with headquarters in Dresden was established. It offers further services and utilities to our German customers.
